Branded CapsPosted: April 27th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Promotional Clothing | Tags: Embroidery, Summer Promotions | No Comments »
Promotional caps are big businesses believe it or not, especially around this time of year. Unfortunately I look like a degenerate when I wear a baseball cap, but if you can pull them off, you can do a lot worse then a promotional cap by Daiber.
This promotional cap must be doing something right, as it won the ‘Communicative Product’ title, in this year’s Promotional Gift Award 2010. The special cold-black technology effectively reflects the heat instead of absorbing it. The cap is made from 98% cotton and 2% spandex to fit perfectly on the head, with embroidered vents to provide necessary air supply (sounds like a car).
Quality distributers such as Gift Selection and Capstore can supply all kinds of promotional caps though, including my favourite, the old Brush Twill! Have your promotional caps embroidered or have them printed. Gift Selection have even supplied completely bespoke caps before, with absolutely every part of the product being made to order.
Did you know that the first caps were worn in 1860 by the Brooklyn Excelsiors – an early American Baseball team, but it wasn’t until 1900 that the modern “Brooklyn” style cap was worn. |
I’m a Lady!Posted: April 26th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Promotional Clothing | Tags: Embroidery, Summer Promotions | No Comments »The sun’s been reminding us recently that it still exists, with the more optimistic of Brits donning their shorts and T shirts while showing off their pale flesh.
Right now is the best time of year for your organisation to start thinking about branded T shirts. There are however more to branded T shirts then first meets the eye. If your marketing campaign is geared toward the fairer sex, then having some fittest T shirts will mean they are much more likely to be used. Remember the most expensive promotional items, are the ones that are never used.
One brand of promotional T Shirts that concentrates on their ladies range in particular, is all American favourite Hanes. There ‘TasTy’ range, is proving popular, as their “relaxed fit is feminine and comfortable at the same time, created in our innovative new fabric. You no longer have to choose between a too tight t-shirt and a unisex t-shirt.”
These quality T shirts can be bought from reliable distributers such as Gift Selection, where they can offer five different styles: crew neck, boat neck, v-neck, tank top and long sleeve, while each of the five styles is available in eleven stylish colours: White, Black, Red, Navy, Sunflower Yellow, Orange, Sky Blue, Royal Blue, Khaki, Brown and Light Pink. |
Branded ClothingPosted: March 8th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Promotional Clothing | Tags: New Promotions | No Comments »
Promotional clothing can be a bit of a mixed bag, with some less then chic designs on the market. However there are some well known brands available, which you’ll recognize from the High Street too. Some quality distributers like Gift Selection, can even supply promotional clothing from American Apparel. American Apparel is the largest clothing manufacturer in the United States, and has found its way into the better of the UK High street. It is best-known for making basic cotton knitwear such as t-shirts and underwear, but in recent years it has expanded - to include leggings, leotards, tank tops, vintage clothing, dresses, pants, denim, bedding and accessories for men, women, children, babies and dogs! There are not many businesses that can offer American Apparel clothing, branded with your own corporate message. Gift Selection can take all the hassle out of organizing quality corporate clothing, which will guarantee your staff will be looking smart. If you want to market your organization with promotional clothing, using American Apparel branded clothing will ensure your corporate identity remains clean and contemporary. |
Don’t Buy Bananas in Your PyjamasPosted: January 28th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Promotional Clothing | 2 Comments »
Welsh chavs are no longer to be allowed to shop in their pyjamas or barefoot. Tesco have put up notices in their St Mellons store in Cardiff saying: “Footwear must be worn at all times and no nightwear is permitted.”
A spokesman said Tesco did not have a strict dress code but it does not want people shopping in their nightwear in case it offends other customers. It’s not asking a lot to be able to put shoes on is it? I’m expecting an appeal from some Whitehall do-gooder, who will object on the grounds that Tesco are discriminating against people who can’t tie shoelaces.
The spokesman said: “We’re not a nightclub with a strict dress code, and jeans and trainers are of course more than welcome.” If you currently buy your fruit and veg while in your pyjamas and Ugg Boots, I certainly hope you will be the recipient of some promotional clothing.
Promotional clothing can take many guises, with many well known brands being available to personalise. Quality corporate gift suppliers like Gift Selection can provide a great range of promotional clothing to suit all tastes and wallets.
Gift Selection can supply a complete range promotional clothing from brands like; PGA Tour, Dunlop, Dickies, Fruit of the Loom and Calvin Klein. The beauty of promotional clothing is the versatility available to the customer. You can have your organisations details embroidered or printed, practically anywhere you wish.
Your design can be as complicated as you like, as when you order promotional embroidered clothing – the cost is down to the size rather than the complexity of your design. Promotional clothing can be as affordable as a Ladies or Men’s polo shirt costing a few pounds, to as expensive as specialist work-wear that can conform to any safety regulations that you need.
If you are looking for any promotional clothing items in particular, or just want some general information – call the friendly experts at Gift Selection who will be able to find exactly what you’re looking for. |

Printwear & Promotion 2010Posted: August 10th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: Corporate Exhibitions, Promotional Clothing | No Comments »Dates have been confirmed for Printwear & Promotion 2010 in Hall 12 at Birmingham’s NEC from Sunday February 28th to Tuesday March 2nd.
Exhibitors at both events were keen for the two shows to run alongside each other though, due to the natural synergy of the two exhibitions. Since 2005 more than 4,000 visitors have attended the exhibition each year with 2009 producing a record high. No other UK event in this sector achieves anywhere near these figures.

Polo Shirts For AllPosted: June 25th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: Promotional Clothing | Tags: Embroidery | No Comments »If styled in the right way, bespoke promotional Polo Shirts from Gift Selection can make for particularly classy corporate garments.
Gift Selection suppliers various promotional clothing items, but their branded polo shirts are particulary popular. When ordering a branded Polo shirt one really should embroider it, which will give a detailed and luxurious feel to it (although they can be printed if you really want).
For quality bespoke polo shirts the individual price will probably be a lot lower than you think. There is no minimum order, however you’ll have to pay an embroidery charge of anything between £40 - £150 pound per design, so they will work out expensive on very small quantities.
All branded polo shirts are stylishly fitted around the hips, chest and arms – so don’t worry ladies you won’t look like a darts player. (If you are a darts player – branded polo shirts are available in XXXL too). |
Aprons Aprons & More ApronsPosted: June 5th, 2009 | Author: admin | Filed under: Promotional Clothing | Tags: Unusual Gifts, Workwear | No Comments »Yesterday we have been working with a client who has asked for some embroidered aprons for her cafe. Promotional tabards and aprons have always sold well within the industrial sector, as they are used surprisingly often. Bespoke aprons are used by catering staff, warehouse staff as well as domestic engineers. Personalised aprons from Gift Selection are extremely hard wearing, and are designed to have freedom of movement as well as easy access to the pockets. Promotional aprons are available in practically any colour you like, so just ask our friendly team if you’re looking for something specific. If you’re comparing prices when looking for promotional aprons, the cost is based on the stitch count. Be sure you’re getting a like for like quote, as stitch counts will vary considerably from one logo to the next. |
